In my opinion I think there's an unspoken code the justice system uses for women. My thinking is women are more use to the economy out of jail because they can reproduce and add more people to the future work force , not only that but women stand to spend more money than any man over her lifetime. I know there are other reasons such as women generally are treated as less harmful then men and more child like in appearance. Men just aren't given the same chances if a guy stabbed a women it wouldn't matter what future he had he will be going to jail .
