She didn't respect you, why should you respect her? Keep on good terms when you see each other and during family occasions, but by no means do you have to carry on a good relationship. Blood is not thicker than water. You can always talk to her later on about it but do you really think she will admit fault or feel guilty for it?

Well that's nu-female for you. Support them your entire life and when you need help they reject you , because of some arbitrary bullshit they came up with in their mind. I have a brother who is a kleptomaniac , I know how much bullshit you go trough when the other party doesn't care, but you practically are forced to help them.

Offer to give her a lift to the interview (and then dont at the last minute) and or feed her false information, if she wants to treat it like a true competition then the gloves are off.

no normal person would not help their own fucking brother achieve the same they are achieving if she wants a full competition beat her at her own game.

Briffault's Law.

Briffault is known for what is called Briffault's Law:

"The female, not the male, determines all the conditions of the animal family. Where the female can derive no benefit from association with the male, no such association takes place. — Robert Briffault, The Mothers, Vol. I, p. 191"

In following, there are 3 corollaries:

"Past benefit provided by the male does not provide for continued or future association."

It also work with family, everything you've done to help a female family member in the past is irrelevant to the present.

Hey, so it's pretty shitty what she did, but I don't know if it warrants cutting her off completely. Sure, don't go out of your way to help her, but it's going to be pretty tough to cut a sibling out totally. My grandfather didn't speak to his brother for most of his adult life. He died holding a grudge. Just think about it for a bit.

I don't blame you. I have a sister in her 40s that has been helped her whole life by our parents or by me and all she has given in return is grief, stress, and sadness.

Congratulations, you discovered that your sister is not just a woman but a human being. Family or not, expect selfishness from people by default. Don't give too much of yourself without testing others for reciprocity first.

Also, don't hold it against your sister. Better to maintain relations but just know not to help her with assignments again. Easy.

Why are you being so passive. You need to call her out on that and let people around you know what happened

I get it that you don't want to start drama but...

1) if you don't react strongly she will get the idea that she can behave like that with no ripercussions.

2) if you don't let people know and keep that level of resentment inside, you will just end up as the guy who is bitter at people for no reason. Your parents need to know she acted like a selfish bitch and that's why you are upset

This a little extreme, man. I'm just saying, yeah she's obviously very selfish and competitive but you shouldn't let this ruin your relationship with your own sister. That will only make you more selfish than her.
