Everything here was supposed to disappear. Banned subreddits, deleted communities, cancelled blogs — much of what is archived here survives nowhere else.
It stays free — no paywall, no account — for the next man who comes looking, the way it was free for you.
I pay for the servers, the storage and the bandwidth myself. If you want this record still standing in ten years, become one of the people who keeps it online.

So is he a victim? Whether or not he is, should he perceive the situation that way? I argue that he should not. When we seek to change our experience, the first step is changing the way we think. Victimhood is not likely to bring us the positive change we seek.
If we successfully change the way think our behaviors will follow, and that change in behavior will bring about a change of experience in time. There is no instant gratification, things take time to manifest. This formula is one if the foundational keys to successfully attaining the experiences we desire. Thought (belief), behavior (action), experience (perception of reality).
A potential precursor to this is the ability to recognize when your own beliefs, perceptions, thought patterns, etc., are working against you. Some people get it when you say it nice, some people only get it when you are blunt and straight forward, others need the words combined with the experience to verify it, most never get it at all.
If we work long and hard for a pittance, that is our own fault. If we allow ourselves to be taken advantage of when we gave other options available, that is on us.
