Donald Trump plans to strip all funding from a State Department bureau that promotes the rights of women around the world, it has emerged.

My mood upon hearing this wonderful news.

Documents first leaked to Foreign Policy showed plans to reduce the office’s 2016 budget of $8.25 million (£6.43 million) to zero in 2018, though the President’s budget will still have to make it past Congress.

Question:

Why is the United States spending $8.25 million or even $1 "promoting women's rights around the world" (I'm guessing jobs for the girls + feminist propaganda) when that money could be applied to American men who can't find work, housing, healthcare, or psychological treatment?

Mr O’Brien added: “Talk is cheap when you don’t fund the efforts you tout.

“Congress must stand against this reckless move to walk away from one of America’s proudest and smartest investments.

Well that's great. With that bulletproof argument, you should have no trouble assembling enough private capital interested in these "investments" and resulting returns.

Unless your arguments are just moralistic bullshit intended to shame the audience into allowing you and your kind to raid the public treasury.

Meanwhile, IF American tax dollars must be spent, I would rather they be spent on American citizens first.

"Women's rights" is such a bullshit. Women have exactly the same rights as men do. And they did so for decades. End of story. No need to push for further "women's rights" which essentially is "women's favoritism".

Good job, Trump.

Now Trump needs to defund the huge affirmative action project that is the NASA and for the saved money just give out space exploration contracts to private firms like SpaceX. The fun part is that it would probably be far more efficient and give better results because NASA blows 76% of its budget on bureaucratic overhead.

I don't think a private company could survive with inefficiencies like that.

Women should support their own. Governments should build insemination machines for them. If they can't afford a child on their own they don't get one. What gives you the right to hive a baby, throw the father out or jail him and have the tax payers pick up the tab for all of it.
