Working on my laptop in a Starbucks earlier today. Start to browse this sub for a bit. Read post about guy who lost ~$127k and commented on it. Talk about timing; immediately, woman sits next to me and pours her heart out.

This girl is soon to be divorce, bragging about how she will retire. She plans to live off her husband's earnings. I literally had that MGTOW post on my screen, and this woman sits down next to me and starts bragging right to my face. The situation is too coincidental to pass up, so I mentioned MGTOW and what I was just reading. She proceeds to defend herself saying that she is a Proverbs 31 woman who always obeyed her husband, submitted, etc.

I have a decent memory and have gone through The Bible at least once cover-to-cover; done a fair amount of studying (plus heard enough preaching.) I am able to recall many verses; not perfectly, but well enough for lookup or the other person to know that I am saved. This woman was clearly hitting on me, and even said so. The only reason this conversation continued for any amount of time was because she was able to quote significant portions of The Bible, and I was just baffled at the amount of double-speak coming from her.

For the record, I am a Bible believing Christian: specifically a fundamental, independant, soul winning, King James James only kind of Christian. Sure I struggle with certain sins and by no means am I perfect. But this girl was eroding my faith in the idea of Christian girls being a refuge or different. This is a topic often mentioned on this sub, that even religious girls are AWALTS when put to the test.

Now, I am not one to question people's faiths, but I seriously wonder if she was a reprobate or a false prophet. She is literally showing me texts and messages from other guys on her phone, dating and bragging about sex. Of course I ended up walking away, but I was trying to wrap my head around this girl. She knew The Bible so well.

Some of the things she mentioned just blow me away:

  • Getting divorced after a lengthy marriage, plus some kids
  • She goes to Burning Man afterwards, considering orgies, etc.
  • Claimed to be children's pastor at a non-denomination church
  • After leaving her husband, she had tons of sex apparently
  • Held fast to idea there are "good women still out there"
  • Claimed she was "one of the good women out there"
  • She laughed maniacally when talking about sex
  • Other things that are less MGTOW related, etc.

Challenged her on being called a pastor, since The Bible prohibits women from being so. It sounds like this was a traditional conservative family, with both the husband and wife going to Bible College. She claims to be saved, had extensive knowledge of The Bible; again I wonder if she may have been reprobate. It just blew me away she looked at me with tears in her eyes, saying how she was a virtuous woman, yet she is divorcing her husband and bragging about taking $25-30k yearly from him in the divorce settlement (which apparently is enough for her to retire.)

The whole timing of the event was just awkward.

Just sitting here wondering what sort of madness I witnessed... Yes. This honestly happened earlier. I was so disgusted by the conversation, while simultaneously intrigued in verifying some Red Pill Truths. Some parts of the conversations I had to ask her to refrain from details, because I can't listen to some bitch talk about sex with other guys. But the cherry on top is her claiming to be a Proverbs 31 the whole time, several times. So disgusted.
