I just wanted to say thanks to the MGTOW community here on reddit. The past few weeks, reading all of you guys' stories and experiences made me feel like I'm not alone in this.

I'm doing a lot better since my last post about my ex-GF. Made some PRs at the gym, met new friends playing basketball on campus. Got back into my old hobby of composing music, and I'm working hard to pass my 3 upcoming exams so I can finish my bachelor's degree this year.

I was in a really dark place, but it made me realize that I am a person who is able to care deeply about others. I feel like slowly becoming MGTOW makes me a better person. I don't have to play machiavellian games to get laid anymore. I'm just being me, the real me. I'm a good and caring person and I don't have to change that for a chance of getting my dick wet.

I'll admit I still feel lonely sometimes, and have urges like all other men. It sucks that my personality isn't as attractive to women as Chad's but to be honest that's their loss.

Maybe it's not the way other people on this board see it, but this feels like my way. I'm getting more out of my relationships with friends and family and feel a lot closer to my true self than I ever did during the redpill phase.

I feel like I can finally start to accept things for what they are, while staying true to the values I think important.

Thanks to everyone that shares their stories and keeps this community active and positive. I hope I can repay the favor in the future to new guys feeling so down on life.
