I have a friend who is this super nice guy, he lives in the basement of two of my really good friends but every time I go over, the guy is really nice, respectful and incredibly generous. He posted a meme that said that he didn't need feminism because it makes enemies out of men. A group of his so called friends moved in on him like a flock of vultures. After a couple of days of watching this on FB and watching him respond patiently and respectfully to all of them and watching them grind him out, I was done.

Long story short, I started with a really long post full of examples and citations of ways that feminists have made enemies of men including the twitter handle #killallmen and how one of their respected leaders is a woman who tortured a man for two weeks before killing him and stuffing his body in a box which are obvious reasons for feminism making enemies. This guy then accuses my friend and his meme of making the big mistake of posting "anecdotal evidence" right after he posted some bullshit article on why men need feminism. So I called him out, I asked him why it's not okay for my friend to use anecdotal evidence when he turns did the exact same thing. He comes back with some bullshit definition of anecdotal evidence to basically mean anything that is anti feminism. And it goes on and on and on and I'm not done yet, I'm done with this; we need to push back. We need to call them out, we need to use evidence, research and hold them to actual definitions of words not feminist definitions of words. I'm convinced that one reason why third wave feminism has gone as far as it has is in part because most people keep quiet, they don't want the conflict.
