I stopped watching it after Sheldon-Amy affair began. The show was successful only for the nerdiness quotient of the men and the actresses now get paid the same as them. Unfair.

I liked the show in the beginning, but like anything else, shitty relationships took over. The last straw was sheldon and amy. Havent' watched it completely in 3 years.

I liked the Big Bang - the pilot was funny, It didn't bother me that Leonard was hot for this girl and would go all beta on her, and she was using him like girls use their friends since they showed it, and Sheldon made fun of him for it. This was a sitcom that actually made fun of men who are willing to do anything for a woman that doesn't care about them, but will still use them whenever she feels like it. But the show soon turned into pure crap. Mostly because well established characters changed to be more like the caricatures of themselves for simplistic yucks. I think I got bored after season 3, when it became a staple that Sheldon is just someone who is going to be the most awkward one and most of the episodes became about dealing with him. If anyone remembers them from the pilot episode, they were totally different. As it is with the shows that are written on the fly - characters change based on public reactions to the episodes - what is funny gets repeated ad nauseum and characters become even more wacky and comical to suit the simpletons watching the show. Basically every show becomes stupider and stupider as season go by. I stopped watching because it wasn't what I liked about it in the first episode.

A ton of allegations with zero proof, one of the big ones was that 15 year old girl claiming he drugged her at the playboy mansion. Everyone attacked him, but NO ONE asked what a 15 year old was doing at the playboy mansion. Seriously, where were her parents. They were less responsible than Bill fucking Cosby.

It should have ended after season one. I stopped watching what feels like three decades ago, but i hear it's still going. Considering the quality of it when I stopped watching.. I'd say there's no way it's watchable right now.

Most shows struggle to be funny now with humor having to be turned down to a G rating to not offend anyone. BBT done a good job the first few seasons but I havent watched in forever. I'm gonna binge the whole series once it finishes up.
