There's a missing premise here, which is that intelligence and problem solving is directly related to overall tacit information and experience.

In other words, 10000 hours to mastery, when you're a master you don't think about anything adept level or below, it's a second nature to you.

You must learn and experience with a hunger in order to turn the challenging mundane. Certain skills require different types of intelligence to exponentially increase the speed mastery is attained though.

Add that in and I think you have a solid theory worth researching! Thanks op.

As a former Java programmer I often would simply absorb the highly complex problem when at work (typically very, very abstract and complex) then I'd go home and go to sleep. In my dream I'd see the solution and go to work the next day and simply type it in.

Tesla often remarked how he did the same thing.

Many brilliant minds discovered their ideas while asleep.

The enlightened mind simply has a larger percentage of their mind as accessible.

When the Globalist Tyranny dumbs people down it makes them literal in a smaller and smaller subset of thoughts.

I'm everytime fascinated by this when I drive. I have to drive half an hour to work, and most of the time I use it to think about several things. I get deep in some things while thinking, and sometimes I notice how my body does everything to drive safely. Even a uncommon event like a fast breaking car is noticed by me in milliseconds. It's crazy.

The problem is that I probably didn't train my brain in other areas. I'm learning to be a programmer, and sometimes I look at the simplest problems and can't solve them, and I don't know why.

This is guaranteed to make you make mistakes and even be blind to them.

I have mathematical intuition but I can back it up or refute it by actual hard analysis.

You are describing the lazy pretenders approach.

Edit: Of course each step requires a "spark" and intelligence is a trait that just is, but putting it together and most other steps require conscious hard grinding.

If you can't see this then I think you haven't done anything that qualifies as truly difficult.

Eventually, you're going to get into a position where you cant coast, and then you're fucked with this attitude, because the bozo down teh street learned discipline.

It's not about getting the right answer, but learning the proper process. Better get on the discipline, otherwise you're be another entry level sysadmin, go nowhere genius.

If you aren't getting challenged enough, do more stuff.

There are some mixed studies regarding MBTI personality types and intelligence. The OP seems to suggest that introverts (spending time in your own mind), intuitive types (letting your subconscious do the work). So, IN types would be more intelligent than ES types, and could be expected to score better on IQ tests. Research has been mixed.

Reference 1 is an undergrad science paper that cites studies finding that:

EP were the lowest
based on school grades, I and J types were higher than E and P, types but in order it was SJ, ST, IN, IS
IN are better suited for college than ES; J-N-I types do better in academic settings while P-S-E types can do better outside of or after college
Standardized tests favor N types over S types
"among students studying the sciences, IN types outnumber ES types. In the physical sciences, T’s outnumber F’s while F’s outnumber T’s in the behavioral sciences"
T types do better on SAT math than F types
N types function better than S types when time limits are imposed
N types score 146 points higher on the SAT
INP average almost 250 points higher on SAT than ESJ

There were only two other studies I found online. One found that intuitive types tend to have higher IQs and the other found much the same thing.

The question then becomes, can you "play against type" to be more intelligent in any given situation? I certainly think it is possible given that as an INTP I have specifically trained in skills that developed E-S-F-J behaviors.

I just received the results of an official IQ test, and it said that I have a rather big difference in my verbal IQ and my processing speed. How can this theory you have here help me be a better organizer, planner and all the other things associated with a higher processing speed?

That's it. Sorry, if you're dumb or average, you're staying that way forever. It's entirely genetic. Not that being smart will help you with women. At all really. I don't know why there are so many posts about this here.
