What the morons don't understand is that MGTOW is an ideology, a way of thinking, as opposed to a community.

There are MGTOW communities, but MGTOW is little more than an idea. Different people subscribe to different elements of MGTOW, and evidently Angry MGTOW subscribes to being a daft cunt.

I think that as far as the popularity of mgtow on yt goes that at this point there are many channels and content providers but no one stands out with 100-200k views per video over a 24-48h period, which I would define as success of spreading its philosophy and as a turning point for influencing bigger masses of people and becoming mainstream.

In order to answer your question I dont think that mgtow is too relevant on the internet at this point and neither is angry mgtow.

Attackers of a philosophy, which is not popular or accepted by a big part of the population, will always go for the jugular of the lower hanging fruits in order to prove their points.

Personally I like him (in small doses). He may be on the extreme end of things but sometimes you need polemicists. And you don't make money off youtube unless you hit seriously large viewing figures which he isn't. And I doubt people are paying large amounts to him and Sandman in donations.

I support free speech and going your own way but it is clear that many people on the outside will view MGTOW as a movement. It isn't a movement but it does share some tenants of a movement-like entity and whilst we are a growing community, I personally don't want people misunderstanding us. If someone sat down and explained to them the true idea of MGTOW and they rejected it then who gives a fuck but I have watched some of his videos and they almost turned me off they were that bad.

Some other commenters have suggested it's wrong to 'stop a MGTOW voice' but to me he may identify as a MGTOW voice but he certainly is not representative of all of us. He can carry on making videos, who cares? I just think his online identity is misleading and contributes to a lot of the bad press we get. To me he just sounds like some dude who is pissed off because he couldn't catch a lay in two months of Sundays.

The best explanation I read is that MGTOW is that it's a decision made from a position of peace.

That way, nothing escalates beyond cordial and rage-free interactions with women. If women still rile you up, they're still under your skin and you're not mgtow, just pissed off. The discussion about what mgtow is should just start and end with this:

Do you believe that when it comes to career & family, women have the right to choose their way in life?

(most likely the other person will say yes)

Do I have the same right?

(at this point they may squirm a little...)
