I gave up modern media such as new fantasy literature and gaming cause of the female characters in them. Anyone know good old ones?

you're kinda going overboard with the anti women bro, it's just a game, enjoy it for what it is. i'll agree that dai was kinda balls but i'm not gonna let something like not liking the way some of the characters looked ruin it for me.

you know what though here's hoping that mass effect andromeda doesn't go full retard. alas that liara 2.0 already has me sighing in disappointment.

I couldn't finish Dragon age 3 either, for the same reasons as you. I mean the bulldyke feminist character was just too much. Bioware these days is very much into identity politics and their fan base consists of SJW's. They pander to SJW's a lot.

If you haven't played Witcher 3, then give it a go. One the main characters there also is kinda emancipated, strong woman, but there is consequences to that and it makes it interesting. Bioware characters in contrast exist in a vacuum, at least in Dragon Age 3.

The Witcher novels are also worth reading. I enjoyed them quite a bit. I also enjoy Robert Howard's Conan stories. Jordan's Conan novels are fun to to read as well.

My main complaint with female characters in fiction is that most are at best anachronistic and Mary-Sue like, but there is still good modern stuff out there, it's just harder to find. Check the Sad and Rabid Puppies recommendations or look at some of the self-published or small publisher stuff.

For some old fantasy stuff you might want to try the Pulp, Penny Dreadful and Adventure Story authors. Check out Robert E. Howard, Fritz Leiber and SAGA. It might be worth while checking out some non-US authors also. Michael Moorcock, Brian Aldiss and their fantasy equivalents etc.

As for games your only real options are old DOS games or old console games. I'm into both but still play modern stuff. To me it's more a case of playing good stuff from the past that I may have missed when I was younger or that's been translated since then.

I recommend reading Buddhist texts. They can be thought of as fiction for those who are not familiar with Buddhism. Buddha told a lot of interesting and entertaining stories from his former reincarnations. You can learn a lot about female nature too.

Play the resident evil series. The female characters you have to play as are actually normal; they don't get any special treatment in any way or make any stupid social justice claims about female power. Plus Leon might be the most based character to ever exist. He gives no fucks

I might be biased though. I Was ranked 24th in the world on Resident Evil 5 multiplayer

Agreed Dragon Age 3 was worsened, but not ruined by demasculated Canadian Biocucks. I've noticed it in other games too. Best games you could play these days are DOOM. Or GTA5 with unlimited ammo, health, no stars cheats on and shoot everyone.
