Facebook hamsters pity & defend women who have chosen to get plastic surgery as being victims of unfair beauty standards by claiming that diet & exercise take "too much time" and "don't always work" [Example of how women not only hit the wall, but refuse to be self-aware about it]

Came across this on my Facebook today. It's a photo art spread of Korean women after they have undergone drastic surgery for their body & face (Link here NSFW).

In my opinion, I think this entire "photo project" is a farce as the photos are specifically designed to invoke pity and feelings of abuse. What is more powerful than women, bruised, cut up, and seemingly unhappy? Of course it resembles domestic abuse and implies that "society" and the "patriarchy" are the abusers of these women, resulting in surgery. Society has abused these women SO much that they have been supposedly forced to spend tens of thousands of dollars to get surgery at expensive clinics and then take off work for 1 year to recover. Very abusive.

Anyway, I tried to spread the good RP gospel on facebook, of all places. I should have known better as two hamsters immediately showed up. One of my friends who I have told TRP about is in yellow. I am the red one.

I want RP thoughts on why Western women who hit the wall refuse to acknowledge it? Is feminism the only explanation for why Western women do massive face plants into the wall and then keep on running into it like a robot vacuum cleaner that can't get past a corner?
