They could be fake, I know I have never received anything like this. What I will bring to the table is that I know very few women would forgive a man for cheating, at least not forget what they did, especially years after. They tend to spread the story around to their female friends that he is pretty much Satan and they will remind her of it if she ever reconsiders him in the future. Unfortunately, it seems unheard of if men use the same tactics women do.
