I would say that he has woken up and is trying to find a new meaning to his life which is poorly and even covertly malisciously portrayed by the writers making him a pedophile predator going through some sort of midlife crisis instead of focusing on him going his own way and leaving the plantation which obviously would've been the less popular choice since he is a dirty male.

Great premise, poor execution. Glorified male suffering porn for single mothers and unhappy wifes leeching off their husbands.

I loved that movie. The entire family is unhappy. The guy wants freedom, the wife wants success that she can't reach. The guy gets closer to his neighbor in a non sexual way, and it's beyond the neighbor dad's comprehension that a relationship can be anything other than sexual. The wife gravitates to the real estate king who is closer to what she wants. Every character is totally fake. One of the best lines in the entire movie is spacey saying "we can leave right after this, right?" at the cheer leading thing. He is just there for show; neither of them actually want to be there.

I think it's one of the most Red Pill films ever made. Notice how at the end his cunty, cheating wife comes home while holding a gun and chanting 'I refuse to be a victim. I refuse to be a victim". It was about how she hamstered the way Kevin Spacey's character finally started standing up for himself and pushing back as her being the victim.

I think he was knocking at the MGTOW door. Not quite there yet. But moving into that direction. I think that pedo angle in the movie was distasteful, but on the other hand he did not pursue it in the end. So he was moving beyond chasing younger girls as well.
