People don't get what's going on here. With the advancement of technology, people are not locked into depending on each other. For example, a lot people have kids and expect their kids to wipe shit from their ass when they're old. Now, there are old folks homes. Before you had to hunt and work in groups for food and survival. Not anymore. When people can simply pay to get what they need and want, dependency goes down. Before, you had to get married to have sex. Nonsense. Now, women give it up easier, we have sex toys, and hookers in some areas. Sex robots are here and are developing. Men no longer are locked into vaulting through hoops for sex. In turn, women aren't really needed for sex.

Look at the show The Walking Dead. People have to work together to survive. You think if there was some force that wipes out the zombies with ease that people would still stand together? They never would.

Higashi says that with more of Japanese society opting for life alone, and shunning intimacy, romance gaming could be a harmless substitute.

"It is true some of our users are probably scared to be in love in real life and enjoy the virtual romance," she says.

So don't many men. Now I like criticizing women's flaws as much as the next MGTOW, but let's be honest here. There is a lot of dating sims, and visual novels for men - more often than not with porn in them - especially on PC, to the point that PC gaming in Japan still has the negative stigma of being associated with porn/perverted games.

Also remember that the guy who married a video game character was Japanese, and the same company which made that video game held events where guys brought their video game girlfriends to real life hotels and spent the weekend there.

I don't judge these guys, but your thread title just does women bashing for the sake of women bashing, with no consistent arguments whatsoever.
