One doesn't necessarily need to be "swole," but a healthy lifestyle should be sought. Personally, I'd rather prolong mobility and independence than be part of the Wilford Brimley club.

I mean if you don't want to pick up chicks that's all well and good, but exercise and lifting are good for your overall health. It keeps you strong in many aspects from your immune system, to cardio as well as your muscles. It's known to improve brain function as well. You should NEVER be getting fit for women. Especially since a good chunk of the western female population are ballooning up themselves. Do it for your personal health. MGTOW is about focusing on you. Your goals, your health, your wants and needs. Not what others think.

I laugh...

Ive never lifted, or been inside a gym. 26 years old, have mates that do it constantly.

I beat them in cardio, and arm wrestles and general fitness, despite eating so much shit food and take out... Plus im also out of shape, not obese, but out of shape...

Do it if you want, for you. Not others, espeacially not for vaginas.

I could gym it, but like i stated. Dont want to.

Simple advice: If you look fucked up, people assume you must be fucked up.

So when the guy in the suit who looks like he regularly hits the gym gets the job and you don't, it might be because you're busting buttons off of your shirt at the waist...

Also, exercise improves physical and mental health. Staying in shape can help you out in confrontations (whether you have to run or fight). Edit: Not to mention being less prone to injury when performing physical labor (on the job or whatever).

But if you don't give a shit or are happy as you are then go right ahead and eat yourself to death or fall over whenever the breeze picks up.

I would say to be able to repel manginas or to physically deal with whitenights, I though about this for a while and to tell you the truth even though being a MGTOW means going your own way it doesn't mean that people are not going to want to mess with you. I remember an article I read about a college student (male) that decided not to take a gender studies class that I think was mandatory in his college and people started harassing him on the campus bus speaking out loud about wanting to beat him up. I bet you my anything if he was 200lbs wrestler they would probably think twice about talking tough around him.

The fitness industry is frankly overrated. It's largely about attracting women because the standard of attractiveness for men has gotten so high it's ridiculous. "Working out" today has little to do with actual health. It's mainly about looking good and sexy. You don't need six pack abs to live to 80 and most centenarians never had them. Most medical doctors don't either and you'd think they should know what's good for us. Having said all that, if you enjoy getting buff/ripped for yourself, more power to you. I work out too because my own reflection turns me on sometimes and I enjoy the feeling.

We would all probably agree that a bit of exercise is good and, for some people, working out is really fun. You just need to find the balance that suits you. If you decided to just sit in front of your computer binge eating snack food forever we might be a bit disappointed but this is MGTOW - you are not accountable to anybody other than yourself. You no more need my approval than you do that of any whiny woman who thinks you should man up.

Why can't you work out and eat pizza and doritios while playing video games? This stuff is not mutually exclusive. Learn how many calories to take in for your goal, meet your macronutrients for the day, and then be free with however many calories you have left.

I'm a middle-aged MGTOW and I work out 4-5 days a week. I don't do it to impress the ladies. At my age that's not really an option anymore. I do it because being in shape improves the quality of my life. Also the 2 guys I work out with have become very good friends and I enjoy their company.
