I can't stand youtube tough guys. You think this would happen in the streets at night. This guy knows who he is dealing with. He knows he is at the mall where there are plenty of bystanders. He knows he has his buddy with a camera as backup. His targets look like out of shape family men that have a lot to lose, or who don't look too intimidating. Take him to the middle of the hood in the middle of the night and see if he can act like a tough guy there.

I have to disagree with your last point. This method only works on, weak betas like the guys in the video that were never gonna fight in the first place.

If you do this to a quick tempered alpha he will often give you an ulitimatum e.g: ''get the fuck out of here or I will fuck you up'' and if you refuse and you are not experienced in fighting you will get your face caved in.

I had a similar situation when a drunk guy was acting aggresivelly to a guest at a party I threw. I stepped in and tried to deescalate but he was too aggresive,plus I believe he was desperately trying to keep the alpha frame ,because at that point everyone was looking at us. He then said: ''get lost or I'll kick your ass'' and after my simple refusal with a''no'' he tried to sucker punch me. Long story short, due to my BJJ backround I ended up puting him to sleep with a rear necked choke and half the people at the party briefly thinking that I killed a man.

The lesson here is that, if your answer to the question:'' do I know that I can defend myself in a fight'' is ''no'', do something to fix that.

This is stupid. Guy is being antagonistic in a public shopping environment for the lulz. Show me a video at a bar where a drunk guy gets in another's face for "talking to his girl" and then we'll talk.

There is absolutely nothing respectable about the antagonist in this video. On a principle, it is disrespectful to approach someone you don't know and address them with that type of nonsense. You never know what kind of day someone is having prior to harassing them like that.

Clearly they are in a setting where not much else can be done without immediate attention from law enforcement. If anything I respect the group of guys for standing their ground and not allowing someone to speak to them that way, and even shoving the guy back. Note there was also a child nearby in the beginning of the video which makes it even more inappropriate.

This demonstrates how maintaining frame can convince people to side with you even when you act like a smartass as long as the moral analysis of the situation is not clear-cut.

This guy was probably out doing a video and the situation escalated when the out of shape bystander didn't appreciate his attitude which consisted in walking into a stranger's face and to tell him some sexual remark. Instead of aknowledging the fact that the bystander took him for smartass trying to test him and walking away he goes further and stays in their face because he knows nothing can happen to him, as another comment states it he wouldn't do that in less favorable circumstances.

This is completely random and most people wouldn't have taken the "joke" if it happened to them, yet the fact that he holds an overall frame both in the footage and the youtube description/comments earns him all these views, upvotes and praising.

This is a kid trying to be a youtube star with some stupid jokes. The group of 5 guys didn't want to fight the kid...they just wanted him to get away from them with his stupid humour.
