removing downvotes is a css change (visual change only). The api for down voting still exists. if you turn off subreddit styling you can still see the down vote button. this is also why mobile & apps still displays a down vote button.

On AlienBlue and downvotes are still working. Must be an HTML thing in the sub's template to remove the button but not the ability via API.

Must agree though, if you don't like something just don't upvote it. Same idea as just change the channel.

All you have to do is not use the subreddit style to get the button back. Downvotes weren't disabled, the button was made invisible via CSS.

I saw that today too and I'm glad they changed the layout. Now they have to just sit there and disagree and shake their sorry excuse for brains and move on. It's honestly a corporate move. You talk to anyone in sales/marketing and we never speak in terms of what is bad, only what is better.

They look for axioms that drive interest, a close, and consumption. If we portray mgtow like that and don't just let petty kids from the red pill come over and down-boat... we might be able to get a slightly better grasp of the core issues that really effect men or at least what men are thinking about.
