This video didn't really bother me. I actually thought it was fake at first. But, real or otherwise, married women with the emotional maturity of children are nothing new. It's kind of refreshing to see a woman honestly blow up at her husband instead of quietly seething and manipulating his feelings in an endless barrage of passive aggression.

What got my blood boiling was the CNN video where the anchor demanded the husband defend his decision to upload the video to YouTube. As if it is the man's responsibility to shoulder an emotionally abusive relationship in quiet agony. Men, after all, aren't allowed to publicly eviscerate the reputation of women. They should only do so in private, in a court of law that will, inevitably, meet the needs and desires of the woman involved first and foremost.

And, as was pointed out in the comments on the YouTube video, no one batted an eye at the woman lambasting her husband on Facebook for refusing to be subservient to her needs. But this double standard is nothing new.

All that being said, I place full blame on the husband for agreeing to a lifelong pact with this woman in the first place. It's a costly, life-consuming mistake, but nevertheless, a mistake that the husband made willingly.

Real life cases like this are why men must go their own way. There is no way to win the game as the rules stand now, other than to not play.
