That's because women are naturally selfish and only care about themselves. As usual, their feelings trump everything else - who cares that the guy they got fired may have a wife & kids at home, rent to pay etc.

Who cares that he may get thrown out on the street or his kids will go hungry - a WOMAN got her FEELINGS hurt! That's like, high priority!

A couple of those responses actually made sense, like the teacher who wouldn't tell a dirty joke to her students, but admitted she enjoys them. Can't really speak for the others. I mean the situations are unknown. In one instance, yes a fem-nazi could be getting butt-hurt over nothing, but in another a legitimate, hard working woman could be a target for harrassment and legitimately hate going to work... I mean it's all subjective. Hell, I can recall a time when my fellow male co-workers were talking for hours about the conquests they went on at their previous unit. I tried to change the subject cause I honestly didn't give a fuck who they fucked and in a working environment there were better things we could discuss. I don't mind it for a little while, but for fucks sake I really don't care to know someone's entire sexual resume.

Just some perspective. I think you hyped this up to be WAY more than it is.

I like dirty jokes but it's a workplace man. They don't offend me but why risk it? Just tell your work friend who you know isn't easily offended.

I'm not sure what you were expecting. This is typically what happens when you introduce women into all male environments. It's a given that you have to cater to everyone, including the new additions.

Making dirty jokes with other men will not get you in as much hot water as it would with women. Men tolerate a lot with one another, in fact, you could say it's part of male relationships. We banter and playfully rib one another. That's not how it works with men and women. Things get real serious, real quick.

You cannot expect the same kind of environment in an all male setting versus a coed.
