Gentlemen, there have been a few troll posts and comments this week about how this sub is "pathetic" and "pussy centric." Amongst other typical criticisms and trollisms. It got me thinking.

To me, there are no stone tablets of lore when it comes to MGTOW.

There are some fundamental tenets, sure. There is other life advice that is often repeated which you apply at your own discretion. As a community (of which yes I am new to this sub but not MGTOW) we would be wasting our time pontificating on and on about the value of going your own way. We know the value and benefits. What we may not always know are the constantly changing experiences and lessons of MGTOW in others' lives. Or their thinking. Or how they have brought MGTOW into their lives. That's good stuff.

The power of being a man and going your own way is you can make your own decisions, you decide your own level of involvement in life, in family, in friendships and relationships, this sub, the community at large. Whatever. The fruits of your labour have become your own. The only expectations you should be living up to are your own. This is why I feel TRP has only ephemeral value. You are instructed to start building yourself up to exploit and then later conquer the "expectations" of women (sexual strategy). Cool, now what? I am a better man sure, but I am at square one. Chasing pussy. As heterosexuals of course many of us obsess over women and that's fine. my MGTOW path is accepting that and moving the fuck on without them on your own terms.
