I was seeing a girl who always talked about how abusive her ex was. I kept thinking 'yeah right' because I knew the guy. He was kindof an asshole, but knowing her I'm sure she brought just as much dysfunction into the relationship. I assumed she exaggerated his behavior and hid her own bad behavior.

She ended up dropping me for another guy, then a year later she tried to reconnect with me. She referred to the guy she dropped me for as 'an asshole' and I was sitting there thinking 'he wasn't an asshole'. Like she expected me to agree with her that her ex was abusive or the guy she dropped me for was an asshole. Articles like this help me make sense of her bullshit.

Women's tactics and strategies make so much more sense to me now. And I'm still learning. I wish I could have the kind of relationship I want to assume men used to have with women. A woman was a loyal, compassionate, protective, supportive person who was on your team in life. But I don't know if that ever even existed outside of imagination and in a handful of relationships. Many of todays women seem so dysfunctionally selfish it isn't even close to funny.

One of the saddest yet most profound things I've heard on TRP is 'men are romantics pretending to be realists, women are realists pretending to be romantics'. Men act like users who only care about sex, but deep down inside we want someone to love us, accept us unconditionally and be nice to us. Women say they want to be loved and treated with kindness, but deep inside they have a branch swinging calculator determining the next best leap.

This article is spot on. I went out with a girl once who pulled the same shit. Didn't say she was raped (didn't let it get that far.) but pulled the all previous guys were assholes routine. Nexted her hard! After all, in a couple of months I was going to be an asshole.
