So men can't sit on toilet and read a magazine but someone can take a two hour bath with a bottle of wine and a book and that's called "me time." Now I know why dad built the workshop in the back yard. I even remember him pissing into old coffee cans to avoid coming into the house. My understanding of my father grows daily.

Women really are from venus and men are from Mars. The bathroom is a holy place of rest and relaxation. A place for deep thoughts and decompression (no pun intended). It is a man cave in our own way. You try making a poop conversation with a woman and see what happens, but do so with other guys and something magically different happens.

Leave our anus alone. Most straight men draw the line right there.

Dated a girl back in the LiveJournal days. Every little gripe about the relationship, she'd put up a public post about it. Told her if she continues to do that, we'd break up.

It's unbelievable that men allow their women to passive-aggressively post things about their relationships for the world to see.

The Bathroom is Not a Man Cave

No honey, that's exactly what it is. When my daughter was little she would follow me in there jabbering away with a cat or 2 in tow and I'd have to shoo them away. I kept a magazine rack in there for a reason but now we have smartphones & tablets.

The shitter is the one place I can get some peace & quiet. This goes for work too. I announce "I'm going to my office to do some paperwork" and head out the door. There's nothing more satisfying than getting paid to shit.

Reminds me of a guy i use to play football with who was married with kids and every couples of weeks we would have a bye so there would be no game but he would tell the wife that there was one but would instead meet his mates at the pub

Also the same guys friend was telling us how one time he went to a party that was his wife friends and was so bored out of his mind so went to the toilet rang his mate to text him saying that he was having a crisis of some kind and needed him for emotional support right now, which funny enough worked as his wife believed him
