Yeah,if you care about the story in pokemon games its gonna be very annoying for you to play this game. If however, you want a rewarding pokemon game where you actually have to think how to setup your pokemon team in order to beat challenging bosses or where to find X pokemon etc this game is pretty good. It also can be modded. I sometimes play it and get my grind on whenever i feel like to. For example i made a full run of pure normal type pokemon. But yeah storywise is cringe to say the least.

That looks like a tourist train going through downtown Denver. Like one of those special trains they run only around Christmas. "Rio Grande" is the old Denver and Rio Grande Railroad. A couple of the rides from Elitch Gardens are in the background.

It’s different to the usual game. I personally like how Pokémon’s literally walk around the world. It’s a little weird because they pop in and pop out. But it’s the first time (not including let’s go p/e) they’ve properly implemented this. The game holds your hand a little too much, but apart from that it’s ok.

Back when there was barely any information. Now literally all the information/guides are there. If anything, they should make it super difficult. This generation is really being fucking dumbed down. I miss a good old challenging game. :(

complete disappointment.
10 routes,
No side plot, you just beat gym after gym (even the rival team is resolved as a gym battle)
No Elite 4,
less than half of the existing pokémon are available,
no GTS,
HORRIBLE field of view, pokémon, NPC and berry trees just Pop out of nowhere,
no fly animation,
Horrible animation overall (the starters signature attack moves are amazing, though);
it's a console game that is worse than Pokémon XY for 3DS in every way.
wild area is cool on the first hour, but there's nothing to do there besides raid battles
