I'll start this post out by begging for forgiveness brothers!

I've been solo for a number of years, and have avoided all contact with women except when necessary. It's worked out great. This past weekend I had a lapse in judgement. Here's a little history!

My neighbor in the apartment across from me is, I admit, an EXTREMELY attractive woman. We've exchanged pleasantries a few times and that's that. She's nice to look at it but I can tell she's high maintenance. She's seldom there as she works in an industry that requires extensive travel. I ran into her last week and she asked me if I could help her break some bunk beds down to sell as she's getting rid of all of her furniture. Sure why not? I was bored, she's some eye candy to look at it least. We get everything apart without a hitch, but it was mistake #1. Next, she wants to know if I know anyone who wants to buy any of the furniture she's getting rid of. Nope I don't. I figured that was the end of it and told her to have a good day.

The next thing I know, she comes over and says "I have a person who wants to buy some stuff, here's the prices for everything. Would you mind being here when they come to buy it since I'm not home. I'll give you a key to the apartment, and cut of the money." Well I'm all about money so I said sure why not? How hard can be? Just unlock the door and let the buyer get what they want right? Mistake #2.

Here's where the fun begins, the guy and his wife DO come over. They're nice enough. They bring the amount of money to buy what they wanted. I confirmed it with my neighbor over the phone as she traveled, and it matched up. Then they said "Oh are these chairs for sale too?" I checked the price sheet. "Chairs - $25 each" Why yes they are! So they gave $50 more dollars.

I texted my neighbor. "Good news! Your buyer came, AND They bought two chairs as well so now you don't have to worry about getting rid of them". The shit hit the fan! "Those WEREN'T sale! They were my roommates chairs! They stole those chairs from us, you need to call the police!" and on and on. Then her roommate starts blowing my phone up with text, then calling. Threatening to have the police called because the chairs were stolen, and she "Doesn't care how you get them back but get them back" and so on and so on.

This fiasco last a couple of hours until her roommate gets home. I should mention the roommate is a postwall / dried up chain smoker who looks probably 30 years older than she really is. She comes over to my place bitching at me about how I should have checked with her to see if the chairs were for sale, how those chairs were her daughter's, how did I not know anyone was still living there? Blah blah blah.

I finally had enough, I apologized, said "I was only going by what was on the sheet" and told her to just take all the money and the two of them could split it and I don't care. I told her have a goodnight and said "Fuck it"

My one moment of weakness in years, over something SIMPLE, and the women still managed to fuck it up and remind me WHY I don't deal with them in the first place. STAY STRONG guys, even if you THINK "how could this go wrong?".
