Not sure where you're from so I won't give you any specific advice. High-yield Saving accounts for the time being if you have absolutely no idea where to start.

Meanwhile, research and check out other finance subreddits (like r/personalfinance for ideas.)

If it was I, after paying off some debts I'd invest the rest for the next 30 years and never touch it.

This is, to me, found money, and a way to start retirement with a big lump up front. So I'd pretend it never existed other than eliminating debt early on, and keep doing like the original plan was.

I would attempt to buy a home with some land, to potentially gain income via farming, even if just leasing out to others.

Then, if the SHTF, you’re in a good position to be self-sufficient with chickens, garden, etc.

Also, check out couch investing and index funds + bonds. Starting out with 1.4k a month for life is already pretty good, means you can pursue riskier things in life (don't go for women though, that's not risk, that's stupidity) and still have a fall back if shit hits the fan.

Maybe start a business? Find what you love in life and work to be your boss.

VA loans require no mortgage insurance and zero down payment. Im thinking I'll put some down though to lower the interest. Bachelor pad for sure. Some land maybe, nothing huge.
