I figure this would be a good place to ask since were all lifting here. I’m new to this but getting some experience under my belt. I’m coming up on 4 months, and I just started adding sprints to my routine 2 days a week. I have a home gym so my lifting routine hasn’t changed with the quarantine. I lift 3 days a week and was feeling fine but the last couple weeks I’ve been increasingly more fatigued everyday the whole day. I’m getting my 8 hours, and even during my workouts I’m yawning and feel exhausted. I’m still lifting the weight but it doesn’t feel the same my head isn’t completely in it cus I’m fighting the fatigue. Do you think it’s from adding the sprints and going straight into it and not working up to the sprints it’s causing my body to take longer to recover? I mean my knees and ankles are still sore from the sprints on thursday, that just seems excessive. It’s really fucking with me though, constantly being tired makes the day much harder to tackle and I don’t want to fall behind on my main lifts.
