Just a warning to guys everywhere - think twice! The courts will take as much as they can. I went from owning nice house to renting a room due to child support. Nice car to a 20 year old beater. Ask yourself if it is worth it before you get married.

Yup. I'll have paid 500k, post tax dollars when all is said and done. I'm 38, work 2 jobs earning well over 6 figures, and live in a rented apartment with a roommate, no car, and no savings.. meanwhile my ex has no job yet a luxury 3 bedroom condo with a Lexus SUV in the garage. Be warned.

Congratulations! I finished up last year and I know how good it is to finally get that yoke off your back. It's not just the new financial freedom that makes you feel better it's losing the monthly reminder of how you got completely screwed. I still have some divorce debt to pay off but I am within a month of being totally in the black. My job will give me a reasonable pension and I am going to try to get a small place before I retire in a few years. I've never been a big spender but child support forced me into living frugally which is now a way of life for me. My life is not at all what I planned but MGTOW has really helped me focus on what is important and I actually look forward to my female free future. Edit: Just to help add to the warning - I have 2 kids that cost me $250K in CS.

What were the challenges you faced during this ordeal? Was the ex-YOU_KNOW_WHAT cordial to you? Did you have an experience where the courts treated you like a third class citizen or worse?
