What a tough job. Have to give people a cup with pills in it, and sometimes stick a needle in someone. Sheesh, and they only make $40 an hour. Such a hard job.

Well, I certainly don't wanna be a nurse. That's a woman job, designed for their gender, requiring just enough mental capacity for a woman to handle. If they wanna pat themselves on the back, fine. Its no different than a 5 year old being proud of their finger painting lol.

I've only made it through 2 of the last 10 shifts without tagging a toe and sliding someone's mother or father into a bag. We are then expected to be supporting of the next person asking if they're going to die. Docs hand us ipads so we can go into covid positive rooms with our 7 day old single use mask so they can 'evaluate' their patient from the safety of the hallway. Nurses hype themselves up because while we're risking their lives in unsafe working conditions while administrators cut costs in trade for our lives. We have all lost coworkers to this and honestly, it's physically, mentally and emotionally draining. Until you've lost a close friend or a family member, it's just numbers. When you're the one pushing that last dose of epinephrine knowing that battle is lost, it's different.

I rarely see a male doctor and never a male nurse in these or similar worshiping.
