This is the how and why.

Under "Welcome to Red Pill Christians" in bold letters on the sidebar, you get this:

We are a subreddit that exists to provide a place for Christians to discuss problems, solutions and insights on relationships, sex, and biblical masculinity according to biblical principles.

This is the what.

Then there is the comment linked on the sidebar titled "Why we use RP terminology to help bridge the gap in explaining and living out biblical truths"

This is the reason for doing things the way we do, including some of the when and where.

The entire sidebar is full of the "how to" and theory behind everything here.

It is all based on biblical truth. While RP is in the name, we abide by the Bible and it informs and outlines all of our decisions.

OYS is own Own Your Self, Own Your Stuff, or more crudely (as used on the RP forums), Own Your Sh!t.

People post what they are currently doing to improve their lives in a variety of areas (including physical, spiritual, relationship wise, etc), where they are in their progress and they receive advice and feedback, encouragement and criticism, and then post updates the each subsequent week.

This main forum is for general discussion, field reports and specific advice from the community on your situation, should you decide you want it.

If you do, then Rule 2 of the sub comes into play.

Mission: Tell us what it is and why you need a woman's help accomplishing it (I'm being serious)
Stats: body fat, height, weight, lifts, etc.
Reading: Which sidebar content you've read (RPC and/or MRP)
Finances: Current job and income quality, future prospects, debt issues
Spiritual: How mature you are, how often you pray, have quiet times, share your faith, memorize Scripture, etc.

This helps everyone tailor their advice to you, and give you much more specific ideas, suggestions and feedback for you to think on and apply.

When you leave something out, we might make a comment that you are already doing, which saves everyone time and effort.

Or it could be that you left out very pertinent information that would change our advice to you. When we have the whole picture, we can better help you.

Lastly, there is the Glossary of Terms and Acronyms if you read something and you are unsure as to it's meaning or reference.
