I'll be 24 or 25 when I get my degree. That's pathetic. I went straight to community college after highscool and didnt take things seriously.

I failed classes and didnt stress because I knew I could just retake them and they didnt cost that much money. I wasted time there and then went to a university and entirely fucked up my first year. I went through and still going through terrible depression and health issues and failed almost all my classes. This virus is the only thing keeping me in school because academic probation got extended.

I realized I wasnt smart enough for a Computer Science degree so I switched majors. I'm a man child and I hate myself for it. I took the minimum credit hours so I could have more time to watch YouTube videos and delay the scary inevitability of growing up.

Everyone my age will have a stable career and maybe even a family while I'm still in college mooching off of my parents even more. I'm going to feel like a loser in all my classes with 18 year olds.

I feel like it's almost more socially acceptable to be the middle aged mom going back to college than the mid 20's guy that couldn't grow up.

I guess I can lie about my age. Any body in a similar position? Any words of encouragement?
