I'm 18 y.o and like all teens I went through the edgy phase but some of it was actually based on true stuff. One thing that stands out is how most of us are slaves of the system. I've made a promise to myself to never ever be like that, but the way my life is going I don't know how I can stop it.

I think the biggest obstacle for me is the fact that I live in a 3rd world country. It's not as bad as it looks in the movies, but it's still bad. The easiest step is to work a simple job and save up money and invest, but that's not easy, you guys got a minimum wage of 15 dollars an hour, here, you'd be lucky to make 10 dollars working 8 hours a day. The only advantage is how easy it is to bribe people, basically it's all illegal stuff.

Hopefully I'll be getting my bachelor's degree after a couple of months, and I think I'm gonna be joining the military academy. It's a good opportunity, but I'm still gonna be a slave.

What are your best advice on this subject ? I don't wanna be in the same house 50 years later with an unhappy life, a job I don't like and a wife that I hate.
