I saw a doc about an abrasive older American woman dating a much younger guy in a poorer country. The funny thing is, the kid had flamingly gay/effiminate mannerisms and said his dream was to be a male dancer in Vegas. I'm sure he was just using her to achieve his gay dancer dreams, and as soon as he got his citizenship he left her for a man in the US. Nope, men are not hypergamous or not like women. Men are raised to be the bredwinners of the family and generally in most cases, men do not marry a woman for her money and least likely if she is unattractive. Many attractive women would be willing to marry an unattractive man by getting a green card and leaving their third-world shit hole.

In my case (being from a third world country) I prefer to get a visa for my work or getting a scholarship for a university on my own, not marrying any beta woman.
