They are still blue pill .They don't have an ideology like red pill.They are closer to incels.

Which is worrisome in some way because the future of MGTOW looks like we will be taken over by incels. There are some reports(Sandman,Black pidgeon speaks) that number of incels growing up more than MGTOW.

MGTOW looks easy but is not.Easier to give up betterment for yourself and take the black pill and nihilism(what's the point of trying, that we hear more often here).

Most herbivore men are more likely to be blue-pilled, but have reluctantly resigned from participating in the dating game, because they understand that it is not probable nor feasible to acquire a relationship, given the crappy ecomony and culture that they have to live in.

Most of them actually don't understand about women and their nature (not aware of the red pill), however, they are simply reacting to the situation presented to them.

My assessment is that the major difference between MGTOW and herbivore men is while both groups are reacting to a gynocentric environment, where men are expected to be disposable providers; MGTOW takes proactive scientific and philosophical approach to their actions, trying to seek betterment of themselves, and being aware of the red/black/blue/etc. pills - whereas herbivore men are simply being reactive to their environment.

We're on sort of the same path, but if there is such thing as advancement tier levels of realisation and knowledge, then perhaps herbivore men are just a few levels below us.

I had a friend from Japan years ago. He told me what life was like for him. Go to work Monday and live in his office til Friday. Go out with the boss and coworkers drinking and partying. All his pay went to the wife and she gave him an allowance. He wasn't allowed to upset the wife and kid's routine. Next to no sex.

I wouldn't want that life. The Herbivores are acting correctly IMO.

From what I understand, as bad as western women are.. Japanese women are even more pedastalized (yes I just made it up) than western women and expect to rule the lives of their husbands even more so than the crazy bitches in the west.

So men who don't want to play that game have become 'herbivore men'.. a title that I'm guessing was made by the women and is meant to be a bit derogatory, but I don't know that part for sure.

I think they’re pretty much the same, just for different reasons. People can decide the game isn’t worth it for any reason. Religious values, cost, disappointment in quality, moral objection, or just apathy.

But herbivore is more of that. They’re also adding a “never leave the house” part, rather than participating in life and being a normal human otherwise, but maybe they just focus on the more extreme elements.

Some of it is the employee disposability concept there and they don’t want that life.

Not 100%, because MGTOW is a mindset and not necessarily a lifestyle.

Just avoiding women doens't make you MGTOW. THere are MGTOWs who have FWBs. MGTOW is a man who puts himself first and his priorities first.

If the herbivore men are just sitting at home doing nothing that's not a MGTOW, that's just a guy who took the black pill and gave up.

Depends on how they live. If they care for and develop themselves and are cultivating meaningful experiences. If they are keeping their bodies healthy and minds active and productive then yeah. That's a man deterministically going his own way.

If they are just sitting in a room to vegetate their lives away in front of a screen then no. That's just a man who is giving up.

I think the herbivore men, at least a lot of them, would like a woman but just don't see it as realistic (work culture there is brutal and 80/20 rule). So I wouldn't call them MGTOW.

No, not from a couple documentaries I watched about them, I wouldn't call them MGTOW, but I suppose we could say they are their own special Japanese version of MGTOW. I think Japan is ahead of us. Japanese men have been slaving away for their wife and kids for much longer and much harder than any other country, men were getting divorce raped before western countries, and they are completely opting out of society, MGTOW are not opting out of society, although some may, most herbivores are.Watch this, it's very informative:

I live in Japan and know a lot of herbivore men. Most of them arent in the same mindset as us. Sure a lot of them find marriage an awful deal and dont want any part of it. But many are Also blue pill and would spend shit tonnes of cash on any woman that approached him. That being said the trend is very obvious. In my department we have maybe 30ish guys and 2 girls aging from 20~40 and of them 3 are married and I think like 1~2 are in a relationship. Infosec so yknow more likely to be herbivore but still
