Now before you just jump into answering, I feel like my situation is kind of unique...

I'm a 21 year old recording artist on my purpose with an actual growing fanbase, living rent free (I buy groceries and that's it) with my parents.

I want to move out and roommate with some of my boys, but I know if I get an apartment, it will restrict my time and ability to be able to record. I record myself at home and do everything myself, I don't outsource and create even more overhead than I have too to market my music. Moving out, will also put a bigger limit on the amount I can spend on my purpose.

And if I want to record something at 4 in the morning or some shit like that, I won't be able too because of neighbors and etc, obviously. (My family doesn't mind, because they can't really hear it.)

The main reason, actually, the only reason I want to move out is because I have an extremely toxic alcoholic family member who is annoying and embarrassing. So I can never really have company over. Meaning girls that wanna fuck, or just my boys that wanna chill, or people that want to collaborate on music, and etc.

What should I do?

Bite the bullet and continue to be surrounded by toxicity at home with my parents, feeling isolated and depressed, with barely any sort of social life, and just keep investing my all into my purpose?

Or do I get the fuck out of here for the sake of my mental health, maybe find a house or condo to rent with my boys, instead of an apartment so I'll be able to record when I want... BUT be limited on my marketing budget and grow my fanbase slower because of it?

TLDR: Live rent free, but with extremely toxic people causing me depression and isolation, although living rent free allows me to invest fully into my purpose. Or move out for the sake of my mental health and grow my purpose slower due to the fact that more money will be put towards my new place and lifestyle?
