So we all probably have already seen posts and/or replies containing something similar to "We need to help him" or "men could use our help". If you are one of these, I commend you on your simpathy and anxiety to go out there and rescue a fellow man in need, but I'm here to tell why that won't work and how you could be actually reforcing bad decisions.

One of the most efficient and consistent ways to learn is from facing consequences. Let's get that right off the bat. If you put your hand in a flame, you get hurt, you don't do that anymore. It's that simple.

If you, let's say, were to remove the consequences by adding a way to remedy the situation, you would simply encourage the destructive behavior, to a point where you would be contributing to the exact contrary of helping someone.

You could tell a drug addict that drugs are bad for his health as much as you want, he is an addict, he would still do them. Then, when he gets evicted because he couldn't pay rent, you say "Hey, Im gonna help him" and shelter him in your house hoping he would see the light and act to become a better self, but in reality he would just think "Hell yeah I don't need to pay rent anymore now I can do drugs more often lmao". Because you removed the consequences of his action when you thought you were doing good. It might sound harsh, but that's the way it is. If he doesn't face the fact that he is destroying himself, his surroundings and his relations, or in other words, face the consequences of his actions, he won't change anytime soon, if ever.

That's why MGTOW dont recruit, people show up on our door. Those that don't and still put up with the shitshow that happens out there either are the addicts or are people who haven't dealt with the consequences and therefore haven't learnt about things yet.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not telling you to become a selfless bastard. Do help fellow men in their need, for no one else will. But don't forget to never remove the consequences, otherwise you would be contributing to their doom, removing their only chance to learn.
