Pre quarantine and before I found this subreddit I met this guy[22] at the club and we went to another club together where his friends were and one of my friends happened to be there too and it was a great evening! We were getting along and decided to go back to his place and had sex but we went out to get food after and he asked if I wanted to see him again and started texting me everyday after that.

He kept asking me out to go to the club again which I’m trying to ease out of doing. told him that I didn’t want a fwb situation and he was like that he wasn’t looking for that either and eventually texted me randomly asking if I wanted to go out to this restaurant but I thought it was kind of rude to ask so last minute and the restaurant was kind of cheap so I said no.

I’m wondering if I missed out or if my standards are too high because I did genuinely like him I just haven’t been the best at picking quality men in the past and missing red flags so I’m trying to figure out what works best especially after finding this subreddit and reading books about dating better. Any advice ?
