Hi. I’m the one who posted previously about how where you live can affect your choice of men, as well as preparing yourself financially and emotionally to level up.

  • I want to talk about men and money. Women are highly pressured to accept a 50/50 relationship nowadays, under the guise of EqUaLiTy. But studies show that women are still expected to do more domestically. Also, men still make more money than women. We should already know this though🙄

  • You can’t always come out and ask a man how much he makes, but there are clues that will help you.

  • Does he have his own place? Not with relatives, not with roommates, his own place. Men without homes tend to move very fast in relationships because they need a place to stay. It’s pretty gross, actually. I don’t even buy the whole “I’m living with my mom to save money for a house,” because I think that’s pathetic. You aren’t paying your parents rent? You’re still living off them to “save?” No. It’s a hot topic but idc. Why is it okay to take advantage of people, including parents? Ugh.

  • Look at his spending habits with YOU. Is he covering dates, food and the like? Or have you already played yourself and offered to pay for things, because, you know, “equality”. Try this. The next time you meet a guy, don’t pay for shit. Actually follow FDS. Don’t give a tip because he paid for dinner. Don’t offer gas because he picked you up. Don’t buy him shit. Y’all been dating for a few months and it’s his birthday? If y’all are exclusive, and you feel like you have to do this 🙄, give him a 25 dollar gift card to Starbucks. Idk if you’ve heard of Tony Gaskins, but he’s on IG and he says this shit all the time. No more than 25 dollars for a holiday. If he doesn’t like it, move on. Y’all are not married. Ladies, some of y’all are still stuck in that scarcity minded complex. There’s men out there. Weed out the ones who can’t afford you. Stop arguing with other women that they are expecting too much. Argue with yourself and ask why are you paying anything for a man when DATA and RESEARCH show you don’t make as much as them? Just stop it. Immediately.

  • Men and money goes beyond superficial. Many men will buy 80 dollar colognes but haven’t seen a doctor or dentist in years. It cost like 10 dollars to go to a primary doctor. His teeth cost money if he doesn’t take care of them🙄He needs to be in optimal health. He needs to take care of himself and be able to afford a doctor. This seems like its coming out of nowhere, but many men are mentally ill, and can’t afford treatment (so it’s a pass). Many men have medical issues but won’t get them treated (from skin problems to poor nutrition to NOT GOING TO A DENTIST) No.

  • Finances. Men can have lots of money and be poor af, due to poor financial decisions, such as debt, living beyond their means, etc. This directly affects YOU. Monitor him. Does he spend lavishly when he gets paid, only to be broke right before a payday? How much money does he carry on him? He should have at least 100 cash on him, idgaf! Think about yourself. Do you have 1k in your savings? If so, he should have the same (min) or more. Do you have a Roth and a 401k? It takes 1k each to open at vanguard. He needs the same. Hmmm. But what if you’re saying to yourself, “But I don’t have this”... if that is the case, why are trying to pay 50/50?!?? Y’all can’t afford that tip, buying a man a shirt for his birthday or dinner date🤣 Save your money before you start dating. And guard that money. You worked harder than a man for that money, what is you doing giving it away?!?! 🤣🤣 my niece is 20 years old, she got a Roth. I told her straight up, “you can be whining and complaining that you’re broke or you can be rich.” She saved for months to get that 1k. Y’all. Y’ALL.
