I'm 31 and a male cousin recently told me that a friend of his that I know has been debating whether or not to ask me on a date. I have known him for a while and he seems like a decent HVM.

Cousin says the reason for his hesitation is that he is 41, and is concerned that the age difference might make me uncomfortable. I don't know the guy super well, but I do like what I have seen of him so far. Similar interests, similar lifestyles, hes always been polite to me when we've interacted in the past, so I'm not opposed to giving him a chance.

How can I let this guy know I'd be interested without being a pickme?
