Me [20F] and my BF [21M] have been together for a month, and occasionally butt heads on ways to do somethings. In this case, we have a date to a museum planned, and he wants to meet up on the way. However, his methods of getting there are nearly directly opposite to how I would, and neither of us want to budge. Both ways are what the other considers going backwards to go forwards, and I almost instinctively want to insist on my way, since I see few positives in how his path would lead. I'm unsure of if I should just back down and go with what he suggests for traveling there, or try and modify my plan to compromise for both of us to be okay with it. Any advice or help?
