My exlover tried to reinitiate a friends with benifits relationship and i rejected it! Im so proud of myself. He really put me through an emotional hurricane by forgetting my birthday (even though it was 3 days after his and i got him a thoughtful present and dinner,) and refusing to friend me on facebook (i didnt want to change relationship status or anything i just wanted to be friends.) Oh he did plenty of other dipshit things of course, like ripping 2 of my dresses during moments of passion and instead of offering to pay for their repair said, "aw that sucks you're going to have to get that altered." I would split motel fees with him because niether of us were in a position where the other could come over & we'd split the check or take turns buying eachother drinks and/or meals and i as a feminists felt it was 'fair' but NO MORE. Since our break up i've been following this sub and realized for the first time in my life (36F) i do want to get married and not waste my energy on someone who doesnt appreciate me. It feels good.
