How do I know what kind of man I’m dating? I feel like that sounds really stupid but idk if I’m too emotionally close to make a good judgment. We’ve been dating almost three years now and I’m not sure what kind of future we have.

I’m a 21f with my own house. I have two dogs and my bf lives with me. He’s retired military due to medical and I’m currently active duty (army if that matters). I’m about to go to Korea for a year (leave April) and I have so many thoughts and feelings going about my head.

Any advice would be welcome. If y’all need more info let me know. I usually lurk and have never posted here before so I’m not sure what all I should write.
