I'm a junior in college pursuing a degree in Public Policy. I'm currently single, and pretty new to the thread but from what I'm understanding about my previous actions I would definitely be considered a pickmeisha. I'm trying to enter 2020 and this new spring semester turning over a new leaf.

I intend to be focusing on leveling up, working on myself and my studies but I also would love advice on weeding out LVM in college. Previously, when I've spoken to my friends and mother about some of my standards for dating, they've thought I was unrealistic because college students are running on "college budgets." While this is true, how would I still be able to tell if someone is willing to invest in me even if it doesn't initially manifest financially?

Should I abandon all hope of finding a love in college?
