I read the thread on how not to pay for dates and why we shouldn't. I'm in my early 20s and I guess most of the guys my age aren't rich, and if they are its not their own money. I wouldn't date past 30 anyways rn. I used to pull out my wallet more often before I found this sub, but now I'm better. I've been seeing this guy for a bit. We've been on multiple dates. Money spent on dates was probably about $500 to $100 (him VS. me). Really really sweet guy. I think if I wanted him to, he'd commit to me but I'm not so sure about him yet. I feel like the whole "equality" thing has been so widespread that guys don't even feel fair picking up the whole cheque. And it's educated men too. Too woke? Idk are expectations maybe a little easier, finances at least, if it's a younger relationship?
