The Guardian set up a blind date between a TIM and a lesbian. Lesbian was not informed that her date was male beforehand

As the title says, The Guardian set up a date between Jen, who is a TIM, and Anna, who is a lesbian. Anna was not told beforehand that Jen was a TIM, and when they were asked about it, they said that such information is not "required". I am honestly speechless. Anna is homoSEXUAL woman. If her date has a male body, she has EVERY right to know beforehand. This is mainstream conversion therapy. When Anna decided not to see Jen again, Jen not only publicly called Anna out on Twitter, but she insinuated that Anna must have been "transphobic". Because heaven forfend women are same sex attracted.

You can read the write-up of the date here: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2019/nov/23/blind-date-jen-anna-glasses-fog-up. Don't be fooled by Anna's glowing reviews, though. The Guardian put her in an impossible situation. And for that they are supremely shitty.

EDIT: proof that The Guardian didn’t inform Anna that she had been matched with a TIM: https://imgur.com/a/zgtmrGl
