No social media = redflag?

it's actually a small but pretty great green flag imo. most people don't know how to use SM productively and spend mindless hours just scrolling and refreshing.

i am on SM a lot because my profile is monetized, and that's the only way to use SM. if a guy i'm seeing has all these SM profiles but isn't an influencer or monetizing it? wasting his time (and mine, if i'm with him).

Honestly, if he's respectful and kind, then no social is a green flag for me. I don't have facebook and am working on getting off of insta and snap. It would be nice to be with someone who doesn't have a feed to scroll.

It's surprising but with these kinds of things you just file them away as biographical information and don't worry about it unless something comes up that conflicts with what you've been told.

It can go either way. I was with a guy who claimed he did not have any social media because he was a private person. Eventually, I found out it was his way of keeping everything about himself secretive. He moved numerous times, and without social media the only connections I knew from his life were people he chose to tell me about. Once we were done I noticed he had a habit of introducing girls he met to his "friends" but the "friends" were people he just befriended who had no connection to his past. Once things blew up, he would leave the relationship and that set of friends to start the cycle again with new people somewhere else. We were together long enough for me to find out the trail of broken relationships and destruction in his path. Do you know any of this guy's friends or family? I would look at the long standing relationships in his life as an indicator of whether his lack of social media is a concern.
