I was on a selling app recently and I realised a few new clueless competitors had sprang up selling the same item as me but for MUCH lower. In the world of business, this is never good. You know, you spend ages toying with different products, taking risks, finding out what doesn't work and what sells better (which is already very competitive)...then once you have figured this out, put the effort in and done the appropriate marketing you sit back and watch the steam come in. It may look easy to others- but really you put in a lot of work behind the scenes through trial and error to make it that work much easier for you. You keep an eye on competitors as you know other people tapped into that prime market may also join in and sell the same product in a slightly different way- but as long as they're not heavily undercutting you- there's no cause for concern. You and your competitors both keep the stream rolling in together and dominate the market- you tolerate these competitors because they honour your profit margins (marketing at a similar price) and the work you put in to build yourself up as a trusted seller and earn profit.

Now I know where they get these items from (its a well-known supplier) so I knew their profit margins would be tight considering the selling site takes a cut too. I already had another competitor selling the same thing and doing well (just pitching it a different way) but they were priced at a very similar level to me and had similar levels of feedback- so we were both doing quite nicely- there was mutual market respect given this item is a popular search term there (we were NOT undercutting our each others value in this market).............UNTIL the dimwitted thirsty newbies burst in (this is a pattern you see repeatedly happening ).

I couldn't help but think WHY are you bothering selling this at such a ridiculously low profit margin when there is already both me and this other VERY well-established competitor dominating the scene? We have been established on the site way longer, are way more creative with marketing, we have better feedback so we're more trusted and draw more traffic in, plus we're are more wise to the market and the sorts of prices we can sell certain popular items at (we're more aware of the trends, buzz words and longevity of them being veterans there).

They're going to have sell triple the amount we are to make even a quarter of the profit we already making- basically they're going to have to put WAY more effort in to get an even smaller slice in return . Absolutely no seller wants to see their product being put at rock bottom prices for pocket change by a bunch of clueless newbies not knowing what they're doing, how business works or how much profit they can yield...because instantly this drives down the worth of your product. Not only are THEY barely making any money but now you and your longstanding competitors aren't either- its bad for EVERYBODY- everyone is getting shortchanged by this clueless disruptor. Anyone with some SENSE knows that you're in the business to get good bang for your buck- that means you must leave a tidy profit margin for the effort of running the business to even be worth it and to cover the postage costs and the cut the app takes.

Now these new sellers were not rich people with huge quantities of items to dish out to make up for the slim profit margin nor did they have lots of money to spare to pump into attracting that kinda of product volume- they were just your average freaking joe. They hadn't even gone just a few dollars lower but I'm talking it was barely worth their while to even bother selling it, when you take into account the cut the site takes from them and postal fees and replying to messages / ordering stuff in etc. They were just clueless idiots riding the dickwave of our popularity on the site without any kind of actual strategy or knowledge of how this market worked.

I couldn't help but think of this in comparison to severe pick me's on the dating market- these people are never really that bright and only think in terms of short term goals/instant gratification or trying to steal the yield from others hard-work with cheap flimsy shortcuts, rather than putting in the work, thinking of the long-term yield and how they are impacting the wider landscape as a whole....at a risk not EVEN to their benefit.

When pick me's accept breadcrumbs from men who are lower value than them anyway, even the most bottom ranking guys get their ego artificially inflated in the dating pool- they get access to leech from women they never even deserved a chance with to begin with which means they get MAXIMUM RESULTS with MINIMAL EFFORT, shortchanging the higher value woman in question who puts in MAXIMUM effort for MINIMAL return. This means their confidence soars as they've gotten wifey benefits from a better quality mate on a shoe string low effort budget and then he will start to think HE is the prize in demand out here (despite actually lacking any REAL life value). He then starts to try his CHANCES higher up the league offering breadcrumbs to women who are far more in demand with far more to offer than him (whether it be in intelligence/looks/career/loyalty etc).

However, if the target knows her worth- she will notice his phoney sales tactics trying to obscure his true low value and she'll reject his futile attempts to lower hers. She tell him LOL nice try punk - I know I am worth more than that and have I seen more than a few of your type try your look before today- get back in your lane. However the pick me that either hasn't created self-value internally (through self-work) or has lower self-esteem and is oblivious to her value- she will bite his hand off for the bread crumbs because she is so attention/ confidence/ awareness starved. Overtime, this means LVM's get accustomed to KING/ HUSBAND treatment from HIGHER VALUE women whilst putting in MINIMUM effort and treating them like lifeless sex dummies at their disposal, because they know the low esteem desperate pick me will accept it and still yield him the same results (wifey treatement/cooked meals/ constant sex/low effort dates/ free therapy and constant favours).

If there is enough of these attractive pick me's for him to mess with longterm- he see's NO reason to step up, until he maybe has some kind of mental health breakdown or some crisis or family dilemma. Basically he won't see the worth of pursuing a high value woman beyond sex unless there is a convenient reason for him to do so, something that wakes him up and reminds him of his mortality/ true lack of worth. This is because he's been fuelled by his pornsickness so long and the pick me's have been happy to feed and supply him. This is how most LVM's are operating in the wild nowadays. It's way too comfortable for them to be a shit- that's why they despise FDS women.........they can't keep us under their grip because we know our value, we know the options it brings us and we are more than happy to walk away, remain single or date other men to get our needs met...and of course we require more effort to be convinced.

Personally I view most grown adult pickmeisha's as the types of women that would abandon you during a fire to grab as much of (other peoples) valuable goods as they can before making a quick dash exit whilst everyone else burns to the ground. In any kind of scenario where you need backup these women are nowhere to be found- in any case where an LVM is near- they are strategically trying to throw you under the bus and make themselves stand out by their ability to be passive and endure mens endless bullshit. FDS women are the type in survival mode out to save their own too but they THINK about all the other trapped women inside they need to rescue before getting out like a coward first. They weigh up the cost/benefit of such actions and think of the wider picture: yes they can survive but they can also help their fellow women too- it doesn't have to be one or the other. They're the ones that quickly think of a strategy on their feet and reign in the manpower to put the flames out and save more women before they escape first. Now who would you rather be? The opportunist cowardly pick me that escapes with a few precious jewels whilst knowing deep down they were happy to let the others bodies be cremated to save themselves and their few superficial jewels, or the FDS woman that was heroic and was happy to risk some flack taking the lead to save a shit ton of others from dying? Which one would you want to be trapped in a fire with?
