What is a good expected time frame for a guy to text you? How long do you wait before you decide to drop him? I need a 2x4 and am determined not to let infatuation rule my decisions on OLD and such. Crushes after a date or two are dangerous and my brain insists on being pursued.

What if you went out on a date and he said he had a nice time? Does it change? For instance, you say goodnight in text after the date, then he waits til the afternoon (the day after the date) to text... is that bad? Then you respond and he leaves you on read? What if you don't have lengthy text convos, maybe text 3 messages in a day back and forth, and he went straight to business setting up the date? Is it acceptable for me to message first 2 days after a date? or is that taking away the chase? I want to do this right.
