Encourage him to develop good study habits and read. That way, school can be easier for him later on. If he wants to go to college he’ll be better prepared and he’s more likely to make decent money.

DON'T TRY TO ACTIVELY RED PILL HIM. He just wants a cool older brother. Lift with him, be an example. When he had questions, he'll come to you. Don't fuck it up by trying to make him learn shit.

A) set a good example for him. B) get him involved in what you're doing C) realize you can't live other people's lives for them or make them live their life how you see fit.

You can’t make people change or do things. People tend to do things that seem to benefit them the most. Do home work or sit and watch Netflix all day? Netflix is more enjoyable so that tend to do that.

The thing you CAN do is be a living example, and a mentor in a way.

He's 12. Relax. No 12 year old should be reading Jordan Peterson.

Help him develop hobbies, especially in sports/BJJ.

If he hates physical activity, go outside with him and toss a frisbee or a ball around for a bit. Ease into it.

If he's stubborn and absolutely won't go, a little physical force wouldn't hurt.

He's 12. Let him play. Encourage him to be open to new types of people and to value having diverse friends from multiple types of backgrounds. Social intelligence is such an underrated skill.

Get him 12 rules for life, why not? It's very readable. Listen to some podcasts in a similar vein with him, like if you're ever driving him around or something. Younger brothers want to do what their older brothers do, they want a reason to like the same things.
