I was always the "smart kid" in school. Never had to try to do anything. I always ran away when some things (like sports) I wasn't good at out of fear people would look down on me. Going to one of those elite private universities in the NOrth east have exacerbated my problems. Being around that liberal SJW environment has coddled me too much and now I'm scared of everything. A while ago, I was falsely accused of sexual assault. Ultimately, nothing happened except losing a lot of friends, but I'd been living in fear ever since. I realized it was bad a few days. because in case y'all haven't seen, a new round of #MeToo has started where girls my age (teenagers and early 20s), started publicly accusing people of rape on social media accross all college campuses on social media and girls at EVERY university, specifically in the black community especially, would start anonymous pages JUST for girls to accuse dudes of rape. It gave me so much anxiety that I could barely eat, or work for two weeks. When I finally told my dad about this, he laughed and talked about how trivial the situation was.

It's not even just this. I run from challenge, and my mindset is so bad. Rather than seeing opportunity everywhere I go, I see fear. For example, "cute girl wants to get with me? WHat if she accuses me of rape, will just avoid her", "this class is hard, let me procrastinate til my grades start to suffer?". Like I said, the last few years of my life have exacerbated my mental weakness, and I would like people to know how to gain mental strength,

How do I come to love challenge?

How do I get over crippling fear/anxiety?

How do I build more resilience?
